First Class Gear Cutter, Bendon Gear, Braintree, MA

Bendon Gear has a position open for a full-time gear cutter fully capable of setting up and operating gear cutting machinery.

Duties:
To setup and run gear cutting machines to produce precision gears for AGMA Class 9-12.  

Qualifications:

• 5 Years’ experience minimum
• Understanding of gear terms and dimensions: spur, helical, worm.
• Capable of measuring cut gears.
• Can setup Barber Colman, Mikron, Pfauter Hobbers
• Can setup Fellows shapers
• CNC Gear hobber setup is a plus, but not required.
• Attention to detail is critical.
