MassDevelopment Adds VP of Manufacturing Initiatives
Veda Ferlazzo Clark has joined MassDevelopment as the Agency’s Vice President of Manufacturing Initiatives. In that role, Clark will manage the Advanced Manufacturing Futures Program and direct MassDevelopment’s manufacturing policy. Clark has served in executive positions for several manufacturing companies, including more than 20 years at Litecontrol Corp. in Hanson, where she served as president and CEO. Most recently, Clark started a consulting firm, helping chief manufacturing executives and their senior teams develop strategies to grow their companies. As part of her work with the Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative, Clark chaired the Cost of Doing Business subcommittee and helped create the successful energy-purchasing consortium MassMEC. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College in Baltimore, an MBA from Boston University, and a Black Belt in Six Sigma.
