MassMEP Wins Grant to Provide Free Continuous Improvement Training
MassMEP has received a grant funded through the WTFP Regional Training Capacity Pilot Program that will provide companies across the state with the opportunity to participate in a variety of "Continuous Improvement" training programs, including:
- Lean Principles
- Developing a Successful Lean Team
- Understanding Value Stream Mapping
- Using a Team Bases Problem Solving Process
- Practicing the 10 Step Kaizen process for 5S Workplace Organization
Quality Improvement Skills will be also be covered also including:
- Metrology
- Basic Math
- Blue Print Reading
- ISO Internal Auditor training
Courses will be held at various time and locations over the two year period of the grant. Training classes are planned to begin in early 2015.
This training is a perfect opportunity for smaller companies who would like to have key employees understand Continuous Improvement manufacturing concepts or for companies interested in learning how Continuous Improvement can benefit and grow their company.
