CSMi, a growing Medical Products company in Stoughton, MA, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing/Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will manage the daily operations to meet production and customers’ needs, including materials purchasing, vendor contracts, production scheduling, and workflow management. Production involves the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical systems, similar to the tasks involved in automotive assembly and repair.
Responsibilities
Oversee the various materials management functions, including purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials stores processes.
Prepare weekly production plans and timelines.
Establish manufacturing for new product introductions.
Supervise hourly employees’ performance related to hourly throughputs and quality and process checks, and manages their schedules, time approval, and vacation planning.
Skills and Abilities
Purchasing, managing vendors, and overseeing light to medium manufacturing processes is required for this position.
Experience in the medical device industry and the creation and maintenance of ISO and RoHS 2 compliance documentation a plus.
This is a hands on position in which the manager will be expected contribute in the completion of various tasks to meet all production deadlines. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented, organized, possess strong communication skills and be flexible enough to work in small, fast-paced environment.
