We are currently seeking a dynamicManufacturing Support Technician.
Manufacturing Support Technician
The selected candidate’s responsibilities will include serving as a technical resource in manufacturing departments for employees and engineering including hands-on manufacturing and support for key and critical components. This encompasses troubleshooting process and mechanical problems as well as improving processes, setups and equipment. In addition, the selected candidate will work closely with the manager and engineering to run engineering tests, collect engineering data, analyze process upsets or other product problems and develop new processes and equipment to solve problems.
Qualifications
Core competencies include a terrific attitude, strong team player, previous grinding and polishing experience with glass/ceramic material and creative problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have single and double sided machine operation skills.
Physical Requirements
Work in a manufacturing environment. Lifting will be required. Exposure to coolants, cleaners, and glass.
