We are currently seeking second and third shift CNC Operators.
CNC Operators (2nd and 3rd Shift)
The selected candidate will perform diversified manual and mechanical duties to fully set up and operate complex types of Optical Fabrication machines, or perform skilled manual labor. Duties include: reading and interpreting routing sheets and blueprints, set up of machinery, accomplishing complex cutting, assembly, grinding, magging and/or polishing jobs, and other similar duties. Additionally, the selected candidate will set up CNC cutting, grinding and/or polishing machines, read and interpret routing sheets and blueprints to determine required operations and other product specifications.
Qualifications
Core competencies include verbal communications skills, visual acuity to prints/plans and product details as well as machine details, physical ability to lift various weights and to work and move in a factory environment.
Physical Requirements
Work in a manufacturing environment. Lifting will be required. Exposure to coolants, cleaners, and glass.
