Job Posting: Manufacturing Technology Faculty Position

Quinsigamond Community College is pleased to announce that it will be posting an opening for a faculty position in Manufacturing Technology on Sunday, March 28, 2010. This position facilitates learning for students enrolled in the Manufacturing Technology certificates and associate degree program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to integrate manufacturing into today’s business model. He/she will possess professional experience in a high performance manufacturing environment in one or more regional sectors such as biotechnology/pharmaceuticals, communications, medical devices, fiber optics, electronic components/semiconductor manufacture, food & beverage production, industrial products, machinery, or other as appropriate. Additionally, he/she will demonstrate significant experience with advanced manufacturing processes such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, automated manufacturing techniques (robotics, material handling, etc.), quality and quality concepts such as ISO and/or other quality management tools, production planning, inventory control and management, process documentation and other related experience.
