Job Opening: Lean Champion, Worcester, MA

Minimum of five years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory and Lean implementation experience. Individual must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently. Knowledge of the principles and techniques of Lean including, but not limited to, Value Stream Mapping and kaizen leadership. Individual must possess a detail orientation, be able to work effectively as an individual contributor and possess solid interpersonal relationship and communications skills. Must have experience from electronics manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Desirable Skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously, planning and scheduling work and activities to routinely meet cost and schedule parameters. Ability to analyze complex situations involving diverse data and information. Ability to work effectively with all departments, as well as customers and suppliers to accomplish objectives with positive outcomes for all involved.

Education Requirements
A four-year degree in technical (preferred) or a related field or the equivalent as evidenced by a combination of formal education/training and experience.

Quality Assurance

  • Focusing on maintaining parts of ISO9001-2008
  • ISO trend analysis
  • Maintaining Corrective Action Report, NCMR, Preventive Action, following up, updating database, and keeping full control over the system
  • Communication of quality principles across the organization
  • Performance monitoring and reporting
  • Preparation of quarterly matrix
  • Analysis of RMA
  • Conduct internal quality audits and management review meetings
  • Lead the quality initiative for the company for ISO certification, Quality Standards and facilitate the implementation of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the organization
  • Develop relationships across functional areas in order to get the job done
  • Interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Comprehensive analytical/statistical skills for upwards reporting
  • Must work well under pressure from job demands, multi-tasking ability essential
  • Process & management system auditing skills
