Career Opportunities

Job Opening: Project Manager/Customer Relations, Worcester, MA

Biomass Combustion Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Industrial Wood Fired Furnace Systems, is seeking a full-time addition to our staff.

The position would be best described as Project Manager/Customer Relations. Biomass Combustion Systems is a small company that needs a person who is willing and capable of wearing a few different hats.

The job will involve a significant amount of CAD work. More in the beginning as a method to learn about our business, our products, and our design philosophy by creating and modifying existing drawings. Applicant must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks drawing programs. Solid Works is preferred.

The next step to the training will be involvement with the Customer Service and Support aspect of the business. This will include interaction with vendors to specify and purchase products needed to complete a project, and to get drawings turned into products.

Continued growth in business and product knowledge will lead to managing boiler projects as well as managing customer relations: coordinating vendors, customers, and truckers to get projects to the job site on time and then to coordinating BCS staff, sub-contractors, and customers to get the project erected on site, and later to get the project up and operating.

And finally, this position will involve working with post-installation customer service.
