National Governors Association Survey on Maturing Workforce
Although navigating the current economic downturn has become every organization’s immediate priority, the aging of the workforce presents a long-term challenge for Massachusetts employers. In the face of projected skill and labor shortages, research has found that retaining and recruiting mature workers can help organizations remain competitive. To that end, Massachusetts leaders from business, academia and government, in partnership with the National Governors Association (NGA), have convened a task force dedicated to helping employers address this workforce challenge. Your response to this brief survey will help us assess the level and nature of demand for resources on this issue.
