Job Opening: Quality Assurance/ISO Coordinator, Portland, ME
SIGCO Inc., a leading insulating glass manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Assurance/ISO coordinator to help lead the implementation of a new Quality/ISO program. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of a new quality program, documentation, work instruction generation, training, calibrations, and continuous improvement programs. This position requires continuous interaction with all areas of the facility. Candidate will develop and continuously improve plant procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards for the glass fabrication industry. Candidate will also provide strong leadership in establishing a culture of continuous improvement and quality.
Requirements:
Associates degree in technical related field
Prior QA management experience (2-5 years)
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2000 quality management systems and standards
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Manufacturing line inspection experience
Good communication skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing work conditions are required
Sound administrative and computer skills
Self-directed, aggressive, and possess the maturity commensurate with being an effective leader
Excellent organizational skills and capable of creating value-added change to our processes
Knowledge of IGMA, IGCC, and SGCC testing requirements and procedures a plus
