Judges Needed for Middle School Science and Engineering Fair — June 7, 2023
The Massachusetts Middle School Science and Engineering Fair (MMSSEF) invites you to be a judge at this year’s Fair to be held on June 7, 2023 at the Worcester Technical High School in Worcester, MA. This high-energy event is for students in grades 6-8 from across the Commonwealth who have worked diligently on science or engineering projects this year. Most of them have participated in local and regional fairs prior to the June 7th event. The students are amazing and can benefit greatly from talking with a scientist, engineer, or STEM content expert about their projects.
Judging begins at 9:00 am and ends at 12 noon with an overview of the scoring at 8:30 am and coffee and goodies starting at 8:00 am.
We expect over 250 projects and close to 300 students from middle schools across the Commonwealth.
