Our client is an established, profitable, growing medical device manufacturer. For 25 years, it has produced OEM materials and then began selling its own branded items into the disposables market. With an eye to its future, the leadership team has decided to improve productivity, effectiveness, and profitability by enlarging itself with the inclusion of a VP of Operations.
Some critical factors are set in stone: Lean manufacturing is a must, as is an eye to best practices and innovation in the workplace. Also, medical device experience is a must have. Your responsibility encompasses the entire operations side of the business, but not the compliance part. We have multiple locations; your experience must include that responsibility, as well as supervising contract manufacturers.
