Congresswoman Tsongas and Senator Kerry Tour Nuvera’s Billerica Headquarters
Congresswoman Niki Tsongas (D-MA) and Senator John Kerry (D-MA) toured Nuvera Fuel Cells’ 111,000 square foot Billerica headquarters, including 56,000 square feet in state-of-the-art manufacturing lab space, on Friday, January 25, 2008. The Company’s officers gave Senator Kerry and Congresswoman Tsongas an overview of Nuvera’s three near term products, PowerFlow™, PowerTap™ and Forza™; longer term products with potential use for military and tractor trailer applications; and their partner, East Penn Manufacturing’s product, ReadyPower™, for the forklift market.

Senator Kerry and Congresswoman Tsongas addressed Nuvera’s employees, speaking of their collective support for fuel cell commercialization activities and of Nuvera as a driving force in Massachusetts’ alternative energy development.
