Martindale Associates, founded in 1976, is seeking a full time software engineer to develop mobile software applications. Martindale Associates provides inventory control software, direct store delivery software, remote sales ordering systems, and custom applications. The applications range from mobile barcode tracking systems to remote inventory, GPS, and wireless data management systems.
The position consists of developing custom application programs using Visual Studio development package, VB Net, C-Sharp. The software application programs will be written for Windows Mobile, Windows CE and XP operating system platforms. In addition to the development of the applications, the installation and management of the software is also part of the job responsibility.
The candidate applying for this position should have knowledge of networking systems, SQL database systems, as well as solid programming experience. Knowledge of wireless networks is also valuable. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software or electrical engineering. Good communications skills are also required due to the close interaction with customers regarding their project needs.
