Electricity Cost Survey from Associated Industries of Massachusetts (A.I.M.)
Electricity costs in Massachusetts are near the highest in the nation, making it difficult for companies with Massachusetts operations to compete and grow jobs here. In fact, many companies have abandoned Massachusetts for states with lower cost electricity and a greater ability to offer lower costs.
In anticipation of legislative activity this Fall on Massachusetts energy costs – and specifically the cost of electricity – A.I.M. is surveying businesses to gather information on this significant cost issue.
