Congressman Delahunt to Keynote Venture Forum on Renewable Energy September 13th
The Southern New England Enterprise Forum (SNEEF) will have its first meeting at 5:00 pm on September 13th at the Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center in Fall River with a focus on renewable energy. Congressman Delahunt, a leader in policy on marine renewable energy, will keynote and will be followed by a panel of industry and venture capital experts. SNEEF is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through presentations and networking. The meeting will start with a networking Clambake by the Lake, followed at 6:00 by the formal program. The Southern New England Enterprise Forum (SNEEF) encourages entrepreneurship in the region stretching from Provincetown to Point Judith by providing forums on raising capital, developing and protecting technologies, and other subjects of interest to new enterprises. SNEEF will focus on educational and networking activities for entrepreneurs and students.
SNEEF will be hosted by several venues in the region in order to encourage participation from people throughout this large and diverse region. Proposed venues include UMass Dartmouth’s Advanced Technology & Manufacturing Center (ATMC), Stonehill College, & Cape Cod Community College.
Program format will normally include a networking hour, a keynote speaker, a panel discussion, and off-site networking. Initially, there will be 4 meetings per year scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of a month. SNEEF is seeking individuals interested in positions on the Board of Directors or working committees.
