Lean Roundtable – Chace Leather

Learn how Lean allowed Chace to significantly increase production for a major supplier.

The MassMEP Lean Roundtable seminars kick off the 2005-2006 year at Chace Leather in Fall River! The Lean Roundtable series is an invitation-only event that brings together Lean practitioners for a morning of networking and knowledge sharing on how to implement and sustain Lean manufacturing. We will meet at the MassMEP offices in Fall River on Tuesday, September 20, 2023 from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m. with a tour of Chace Leather facility following the presentations and roundtable discussion.

Chace Leather’s implementation of Lean practices has enabled them to reduce their product travel time from 375 feet to 90 feet; reduction of batch sizes to 20 pieces increased outputsubstantially. Many other improvements will also be discussed on September 20.

“If we were not lean, we wouldn’t have been able to redefine our company and stay in business.” states CEO, LarryWalsh
