Junior and Senior Project Managers
Manufacturing Extension Partnership, New England
Responsibilities To help manufacturers improve profits, strengthen their competitive positions, and grow their businesses by incorporating the concepts of Lean manufacturing in their daily operations. The project manager will work in partnership with various agencies to help firms utilize Lean manufacturing concepts in: Lean, enterprise diagnostics, Lean concepts training, value stream mapping, implementation planning, and Lean enterprise implementation.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Lean/cell manufacturing, Kaizen, JIT
Experience in manufacturing innovation and process improvement
Manufacturing management and technical consulting experience
Exceptional professional skills (sales, management, communications, e-literacy, and teamwork)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other appropriate discipline, plus five to seen years manufacturing experience OR a combination of education and experience with comparable knowledge skills required.
