MNT 210-15 Computer Numerical Control MW 5:00-10:00PM – 4 credits
The Instructor: Seokjin Kang is a Master Machinist at Saint-Gobain, Worcester, MA. He holds a degree from Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea and has completed extensive training in many different types of CNC programming and CAD/CAM systems.
The Class: Introduces the essential concepts of CNC and their impact on manufacturing and productivity, with focus on manual programming of different types of CNC systems. Prereq: MNT 101 Mechanical CAD I (or equivalent)
MNT 102-15 Mechanical CAD II TR 6:00-9:20PM – 3 credits
The Instructor: Gary Magiera has taught CAD and solid modeling at QCC for many years. He holds a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Industrial Education. The Class: Covers attributes, blocks and externally referenced drawing files (XREF), advanced dimensioning, manipulating geometry, slide creation, multi-view layouts,
and an overview of three-dimensional operation. Prereq: MNT 101 Mechanical CAD I (or equivalent)
