Boston University Online Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management and Organizational Continuity

It’s your job to be aware of the many scenarios that could affect your organization’s facilities, operations, and staff. To make sure that you have all the knowledge you need to prepare for, and respond to, business and organizational continuity challenges, Boston University introduces a new online Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management and Organizational Continuity.

Designed by industry, government, and academic experts, the four courses that make up this program cover the essential elements of preparedness planning, risk assessment, mitigation, and the interface between private and public response. You will study as part of a small group of students as you conduct detailed case studies and simulations that address the challenges you anticipate in the workplace every day.

And, because courses are delivered online, you earn credit from Boston University in your location, on your own schedule. When you complete the four courses for the graduate certificate, you may transfer the credits you have earned toward an online Master of Science in Business Continuity and Emergency Management. This graduate certificate program provides academic knowledge that can prepare individuals for courseware offered by DRI International leading to possible certification in business continuity management.

Courses begin every seven weeks, and you may apply at any time. For more information, please contact Heidi Hayes at (617) 353-6000. You may also visit us online at http://www.bu.edu/emoc.
